Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using click-stitch.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

click-stitch provides an online embroidery digitizing tool that converts images (PNG, JPG, SVG) into machine embroidery file formats (PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3, XXX). We offer both free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.

4. Free and Premium Plans

Free Plan: Includes up to 3 conversions per day, up to 3 thread colors, and a fixed 3-inch maximum output size.

Premium Plan: Available as a monthly ($3.99/month) or yearly ($39.99/year) subscription. Includes up to 15 conversions per day, unlimited thread colors, custom output sizing, and all advanced settings.

Prices are subject to change. We will notify existing subscribers before any price changes take effect on their next billing cycle.

5. Payments and Billing

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain Premium access until then.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

7. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the images you upload and the embroidery files generated from them. We do not claim ownership of your designs.

Our Service: The click-stitch web application — including its user interface, design, branding, original code, and the overall service we provide — is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary software or branding.

Embroidery Fonts: The satin embroidery fonts included in the Service are provided for use within click-stitch conversions. Individual font licenses may vary.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience unexpected downtime. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • We are not responsible for the quality of embroidery output on your specific machine — results depend on thread, fabric, machine calibration, and other factors we cannot control.
  • Our total liability for any claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at nick@click-stitch.com.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state in which click-stitch operates.
