Convert PES to DST

How to convert PES to DST

What changes, and what does not
Nothing about the stitching changes. PES and DST are two ways of writing down the same thing — a list of needle positions with commands between them — so the conversion rewrites the list, not the design. Your DST file will report the same physical size and essentially the same stitch count as the PES you started with.
The one real loss going from PES to DST: DST files do not store thread colours. PES carries a thread list; DST carries only stitches and colour-change commands. Your machine will stop in exactly the same places, but it will not know which colour to ask for — you set the threads at the machine. Note the colour order from the preview above before you download.
Which machines read DST?
